Short version: the website has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies. The Telegram bot keeps the minimum it needs to work and to be run fairly. Neither sells or shares anything with advertisers.
The website
What we do not collect. There are no user accounts, no analytics scripts, no advertising networks and no cookies set by us.
Your IP address is used, while you are using a web tool, to enforce rate limits so one person cannot take the service over. It is held in memory, not written to a database. Our server logs record requests to the web tools with a one-way hash of the address, never the address itself.
Links you paste and files you upload. A link you paste is used to fetch that one item. A recording or a file you give the song finder is used to identify the music and is deleted as soon as that is done. A file prepared for you is kept only until its 30-minute download link expires, and is then deleted.
Cloudflare Turnstile. Before a heavy job (a download or a song identification) the website asks Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that you are a person. Turnstile runs in your browser and Cloudflare processes technical data about the request to do this; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. It does not use cookies to track you across sites.
The Telegram bot
When you use @MoeinimyDL_bot, the bot stores:
- your Telegram user id, your username and first name as Telegram shows them to bots, and the language you chose;
- when you first and last used the bot, and how many requests you have made;
- a log of what was downloaded (the kind of item, its title and the time), used for statistics and to spot abuse.
It does not see or store your phone number, your contacts or your other chats. Your messages to the bot are processed to answer them and are not kept beyond that.
Delivered files. Files the bot sends you may be kept in a private Telegram channel that only the operator can see, so that the same file can be sent to the next person who asks without downloading it again. Nothing identifying you is attached to them.
Instagram Direct bridge. If you link your Instagram account with /igdirect, the bot stores the Instagram id that messages our Instagram account, linked to your Telegram chat, so that what you share there arrives here. /igdirect → Disconnect deletes that link.
Announcements. The operator may occasionally send a message to all users of the bot, for example about a change to the service. You can block the bot at any time.
Outside services
To do their job the tools send the minimum necessary to other services:
- the platform a link points to (YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, SoundCloud, Deezer, TikTok, Pinterest), to fetch the item;
- music catalogues (Apple's iTunes Search API, Deezer's API, Spotify's public pages) for song titles, artists and cover art;
- music recognition services (Shazam and, depending on configuration, ACRCloud, AudD and AcoustID) receive short audio clips – never your identity – to identify a song;
- lyrics services (LRCLIB and others) receive the artist and title.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
Your choices
You can stop using the website at any time; nothing persists. In Telegram you can block the bot, and you can ask for your bot data to be deleted through the form on the copyright & takedown page – choose "Privacy request".
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
