What it does

Every YouTube video in the bot comes with a menu: the qualities, audio, the thumbnail – and, when the video belongs to a channel, a button called Most popular from this channel. Tapping it asks YouTube for the channel's upload list, sorts it by view count and shows the top eight as buttons, each labelled with the title and the number of views (for example ▶️ Title · 12M).

Every button opens exactly the same menu as sending that video's link yourself. So from one video you can browse to the channel's greatest hits and download any of them in 360p to 4K, as audio only, or just their thumbnails.

When it is useful

  • Discovering a creator. A friend sent you one great video; the popular list is a fast way to find the rest.
  • Music channels. An artist's official channel sorted by views is, in effect, their greatest-hits album. Take the songs as audio with YouTube to MP3, or search them by name with the song downloader to get the studio versions with proper tags.
  • Courses and talks. On educational channels the most-watched videos are usually the best introductions.

Why it waits for the button

Listing a channel is a full request to YouTube, and YouTube watches how many requests one server makes. The bot only makes this one when you press the button, never automatically for every link. That keeps downloads working for everyone. The list comes back within a few seconds.

How do I see a YouTube channel's most popular videos?

On YouTube itself, open the channel, go to Videos and choose Popular. In the bot it takes one tap from any single video of that channel, and the list comes with download buttons.

Why is this only in the Telegram bot?

Listing a channel is a separate request to YouTube, made only when you ask for it. In the bot that request comes attached to a download you are already doing, which keeps the load on YouTube low.

How many videos does it show?

The eight most-watched. That covers what a channel is known for without turning into a page of scrolling.

Do Shorts show up in the list?

The list is the channel's uploads ranked by views. If a channel's biggest hits are Shorts, they can appear; each one downloads the same way.

Can I download all of them at once?

Tap them one by one. Each tap opens that video's own menu so you can choose the quality – a 4K version of eight videos is easily several gigabytes, and that should be your call per video.
