Why a DM bridge
Most reels are found inside Instagram, while scrolling. Saving one the normal way means leaving the app, copying a link, switching to Telegram and pasting it. With the DM bridge, sharing a reel to the bot's Instagram account is the whole job – the same Share button you use to send a reel to a friend – and it is waiting in your Telegram chat when you next look.
How the connection works
Nothing about your Instagram login is involved. The bot gives you a short code in Telegram. You send that code from your Instagram account to ours in a direct message. When our account receives it, the bot knows which Instagram account belongs to your Telegram chat, and remembers that pairing. The code expires after 15 minutes and works once, so an old code is useless to anyone who sees it.
After that, every message your Instagram account shares with ours is matched to your chat and downloaded on the spot. Each reel or post arrives exactly as if you had pasted its link – original quality, with the All qualities, Audio only, Caption and Direct link buttons underneath.
Reliable by design
The bridge listens to our Instagram inbox in two independent ways. If one stops answering, the other takes over without anything for you to do. The same message is never delivered twice, even when both see it.
Privacy
The bot stores only the pairing – which Instagram account is linked to which Telegram chat – and the shares it has already delivered, so nothing arrives twice. It does not read your other Instagram messages; it only sees what you send to its account. /igdirect → Disconnect removes the pairing at any time. See the privacy page.
