How to use it on this website

  1. On SoundCloud, open the track, tap Share and Copy link (on a computer, copy the address bar).
  2. Paste it into the box above and press Get.
  3. Check the track that appears and press Download. For a set, pick a track from the list.
  4. Save the file when its link appears. It stays valid for 30 minutes.

How to use it in the Telegram bot

  1. Paste the SoundCloud link into @MoeinimyDL_bot – soundcloud.com, m.soundcloud.com and on.soundcloud.com short links all work.
  2. For a track, the bot fetches it straight away and sends it with its cover.
  3. For a set (a SoundCloud playlist), it lists the tracks as buttons – tap the ones you want.
  4. Each track arrives as a music file with Lyrics and Similar buttons underneath.

Why SoundCloud is different

On Spotify or Apple Music you find the released version of a song. On SoundCloud you find everything around it: remixes, bootlegs, edits, live recordings, DJ mixes, demos and tracks that were never released anywhere else. That is why the downloader treats a SoundCloud link as exactly this upload. It takes the track you linked and does not go looking for a "better" official version.

The original file, when the artist allows it

Some artists enable downloads on their tracks, and the file they uploaded – sometimes WAV or FLAC – becomes available. The downloader tries that first. When downloads are not enabled, it takes the best stream SoundCloud serves to a listener and copies it without re-encoding, so nothing is lost on the way.

Clean titles and artwork

SoundCloud titles are written for the SoundCloud feed: Artist - Track (Extended Mix) [FREE DL], with the uploader's profile as the "artist". The downloader separates the real artist and title, strips promotional noise, and – when the track is a released song – looks it up in Apple's catalogue for the album name and proper cover. For remixes and uploads that exist only on SoundCloud, the track's own artwork is used.

Sets

A SoundCloud set is a playlist or an EP. Paste its link and the first 20 tracks are listed, each as a button with its length, so you can take the ones you want. Every button downloads that exact track.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download any SoundCloud track?

Any public track. Private tracks, tracks reserved for SoundCloud Go+ subscribers and tracks not available in our server's country cannot be fetched.

What quality do I get?

When the artist has enabled downloads, the original file they uploaded is taken first – sometimes lossless. Otherwise you get the best stream SoundCloud offers a listener, usually 128 kbps MP3 or AAC, copied without re-encoding.

Can I download a whole SoundCloud playlist?

The bot lists the first 20 tracks of a set as buttons and you tap the ones you want. For big playlists of songs that are also on streaming services, the Spotify playlist downloader has bulk downloads.

Why does the downloaded file have a different title from SoundCloud?

SoundCloud titles are often "Artist - Song (Free Download) [Label]". The downloader tidies that into a clean artist and title, and when the track is a released song, looks up its proper album and cover. The audio is always the upload you linked.

Does it work for DJ mixes and long sets?

Yes, in the bot – a two-hour set comes through as one file. The web version stops at 15 minutes per track.
